This page explains, in plain terms, what ChargeAlign does with the information you give it. It is a summary of our practices, not legal advice.
What we collect
Account details you provide when you sign up (such as your email address), the invoice and rate card or contract files you upload, and the results of the checks you run.
Why we use it
To run the invoice check you asked for, to show you your saved results and contract library, and to keep your account working.
Documents you upload
Uploaded files are stored privately and are linked to your account. They are opened through short-lived private links that only you can request while signed in.
Document processing
To produce a review, the contents of your uploaded documents are sent to an AI processing service that reads the text and returns the comparison shown in your results.
Access
Your checks, contracts and uploads are visible only to your own account. We do not sell your data.
Retention and deletion
Your data is kept while your account is active. If you would like your account or specific documents removed, contact us and we will action the request.
Cookies and local storage
The site stores a small amount of data in your browser to keep you signed in and to remember your language choice.
